About

Semiomantics is a word which I have used for the first time publicly in a Marketing Training in late April 2008.

Semiomantics is an application of Semantics to Web Frameworks. The first applications have been built on the Content Managed Frame from WordPress. Sites applying Semiomantics are namely YORGOOpublishing, Semiomantics.com, YorgoNestoridis.com and many others by now.

While Semantics is the study of meaning in communication, Semiomantics defines a Semantic Framework, designed to communicate with other frameworks or networks such as Search Engines, Social Bookmarking Platforms, Social Networks and more.

The logic of Semiomantics consists in placing a pre-defined communication framework on the world wide web and to be recognized as a source for semantically framed relevant content relating to the defined frame.

The frame can consist of a more or less narrow topic, a key-phrase, a tag cloud or a mix thereof, depending on the targeted audience.

While Semiomantics has proven to be highly efficient for communicating written content to various target audiences, the expectations are even higher when it comes to content which is not “readable” by search spiders, such as flash, video or audio content. The Semantic Framework built by Semiomantics makes the form and shape of the content largely irrelevant as the frame as such is placed, indexed and listed, allowing thus to deliver most any content to any defined target audience.

Semantic Publishing with Semiomantics stabilizes the visibility of dynamic content due to its static framework as well as due the characteristics of static content management which interlinks with dynamic content.

While most of the testings and results are withhold from publication, YORGOOpublishing reveals regularly elements which demonstrate and which lead to believe that Semiomantics’ Publishing Power is a groundbreaking element for efficient online Publishing.
